Making your book
What is AI book formatting?
You upload your manuscript and the AI designs the pages for print: trim size, margins, chapter openers, running heads, pictures and how text flows around them. Printii only places and sizes things; it never rewrites your words.
How long does it take?
Minutes. A full-length novel is laid out while you watch; you can then change anything by asking the AI (“more room above chapter titles”) or by hand.
Will the PDF work for Amazon KDP and IngramSpark?
Yes. Printii exports PDF/X-4 with fonts embedded and CMYK colour, and checks every page before you download. Book sizes include the common KDP and IngramSpark trims: 5 × 8, 5.5 × 8.5, 6 × 9 and 6.14 × 9.21 in, plus A5 and A4.
Which files can I upload?
Word (.docx), PDF, Markdown or plain text, with pictures alongside or in a .zip.
Does the AI change my text?
Never. Every word comes from your manuscript, in your order. The AI decides layout only: where things go, how big they are, how pictures are cropped.
Can I make magazines and school books too?
Yes: magazines with spreads and pictures across the fold, textbooks and workbooks with exercises, cookbooks and picture books.
Plans and payments
What does the free plan include?
Books and magazines up to 3 pages, laid out by AI and exported as a print-ready PDF, plus 3 AI pictures. It needs a confirmed email address. It never expires.
Is the book pass a subscription?
No. You pay once and that book or magazine stays unlocked for good: edit it, ask the AI for changes and export it again whenever you like. The author year doesn’t renew by itself either.
Can I buy a pass now and pick the book later?
Yes. A pass bought from the pricing page waits in your account; open any book and use it there.
Which currencies can I pay in?
Indian rupees (UPI, cards, net banking, wallets) or US dollars (international cards). Payments are handled by Razorpay; Printii never sees your card details.
Can I get a refund?
If something went wrong, write to us within 7 days of paying and we’ll make it right or refund you. The refund policy page has the details.
