Privacy policy

What we keep

• Your account: email address, name if you give one, a hashed password (or your Google account id if you sign in with Google), and whether your email is confirmed.
• Your projects: the manuscripts, pictures and layouts you upload or make, and the PDFs you export.
• Plan and payments: which plan you bought and when, the order and payment ids, and the amount. Card, UPI and bank details go straight to Razorpay; we never see or store them.
• Usage counts: how many AI calls, tokens and pictures your account used, to apply plan limits. We don’t log your prompts.

Cookies

Two cookies: one keeps you signed in, one protects your forms from other websites. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Who processes your data for us

• Google Cloud (Mumbai region) hosts the service and stores your projects.
• OpenAI receives the parts of your manuscript and pictures needed when you use an AI feature, to plan layouts and make pictures. It doesn’t use API data to train its models.
• SendGrid sends account emails (confirmation, password reset).
• Razorpay processes payments.
• Google signs you in, if you choose “Continue with Google”.

What we never do

We don’t sell your data, show you ads, or use your manuscript to train AI. Your book is yours, and so is its copyright.

Deleting your data

Delete any project from your dashboard, or your whole account and every project under Account. Deleted projects are removed from our storage. Payment records we must keep for tax law stay for as long as the law requires.
